Report: Real Madrid scout Ricardo Rodriguez

A report claims that Real Madrid want to sign Wolfsburg defender Ricardo Rodriguez at the end of the season.

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Wolfsburg defender Ricardo Rodriguez at the end of the season.

The left-back, who joined the German outfit from FC Zurich in 2012, is widely regarded as one of the best young full-backs in European football.

According to Wolfsburger Allgemeire Zeitung, Los Blancos had scouts in attendance during Wolfsburg's Bundesliga clash with Stuttgart at the weekend, with the 21-year-old the Spanish club's main focus.

Should Rodriguez arrive, Fabio Coentrao is expected to depart the Bernabeu.
