Zidane 'concerned' about injuries

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has admitted that he is "concerned" about his team's current injury problems.

Los Blancos will be without the services of both Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema for Saturday's key La Liga clash away to Real Sociedad.

The forward pair are also seen as big doubts for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final against Manchester City next week and Zidane has insisted that 'no risks' will be taken when it comes to fitness.

"I'm concerned every time there's an injury. It's difficult, but now the most important thing is that [Ronaldo and Benzema] make full recoveries," Zidane told reporters.

"We can't take risks with them or anyone. The idea is for them to return as soon as possible. [Their recoveries] are agreed with the club. Everyone who works at this club tries to carry out their duties properly."

Ronaldo is currently struggling with a thigh problem, while Benzema aggravated a hamstring injury against Man City at the Etihad on Tuesday night.
