Kenny Miller agent criticises Rangers over striker omission

Kenny Miller's agent Dave Baldwin criticises Rangers on social media in the wake of the striker's prolonged omission from Pedro Caixinha's first-team squad.

Kenny Miller's agent has criticised Rangers in the wake of the striker's prolonged omission from Pedro Caixinha's first-team squad.

The Light Blues manager has not selected the 37-year-old since a series of dressing room leaks after last month's 2-0 defeat to rivals Celtic at Ibrox.

Miller sat out the 4-1 win at Hamilton on September 29 after being ordered to report for duty with the club's Under-20s side for a game against Brentford.

Caixinha stated last week that Miller was still "one of ours" after apparently holding clear-the-air talks but the former Scotland international was again absent for Friday night's 3-0 win over St Johnstone.

Miller's representative Dave Baldwin wrote on Instagram: "The 'inferral' [sic] that this guy is anything other than one of the best 'professionals' of the last 20 years is a joke.

"If @rangersfc have a 'leak,' 'rat' or a 'traitor' in the ranks then they should say who it is and deal with it rather than leave one man hung out to dry!!!

"To make those accusations and then leave Kenny out of the squad and not say a word is embarrassing... and then do it again! Looks pretty obvious to me where the leaks come from."

In response, Caixinha told Rangers TV that Miller "pulled something in a finishing drill last week, something on the hamstring".

Miller has made 250 appearances for Rangers over three different spells at the club, scoring 100 goals in the process.
