Neymar to be fined £340k for Paris Saint-Germain no-show?

Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly slap Neymar with a £340,000 fine after he failed to turn up for the first week of pre-season training.

The Brazil international was a no-show on Monday and does not intend to return until next week, according to his father.

Neymar's absence has been put down to commercial commitments that PSG were supposedly made aware of, but the French giants hit out at the superstar forward in a statement on their official website.

Marca claims that the 27-year-old will have a big portion of his wages docked as a result of not reporting for club duty on time.

Meanwhile, Barcelona are rumoured to have been joined by fierce rivals Real Madrid in the race to sign Neymar, who is keen on a return to Spanish football.
