Steve Bruce has insisted that he has no plans to retire from management after walking away from his job at Hull City.
The 55-year-old resigned on Friday just three weeks before the start of the new Premier League season.
The club confirmed that the decision was mutual, and it has since been rumoured that Bruce, who was interviewed for the England job almost a fortnight ago, is leaving management altogether.
However, the man himself has claimed that he plans to look for another job after having a break.
"I've got no intention of retiring," The Telegraph quotes Bruce as saying. "I'm far too young for that. I'll have a bit of holiday and then have a look around."
Bruce guided Hull to two promotions and the FA Cup final during a four-year spell at the KC Stadium.
