Wolves, Man United want Monaco defender?

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester United are both reportedly interested in a summer swoop for Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile.

The 18-year-old signed his first professional contract with Monaco in February 2018 and made 20 Ligue 1 appearances during the 2018-19 campaign.

According to L'Equipe, both Wolves and United are keen on a swoop for the teenager, who also appeared twice for his principality club in the Champions League last term.

Badiashile will see his current deal with Monaco expire at the end of the 2020-21 campaign.

Tottenham Hotspur have also previously been credited with an interest in the France Under-19 international, while Manchester City were thought to be interested before the youngster penned professional terms with Les Monegasques.
