Manchester United to move for Javi Martinez?

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly ready to move for Athletic Bilbao midfielder Javi Martinez at the end of the season.

The 23-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best young talents in Europe, and has been linked with a host of sides this season.

Bilbao will not entertain bids of less than £28m, however, according to caughtoffside.com, for a player who has appeared over 200 times for the Spanish club.

Martinez joined Bilbao from Osasuna in 2006.
