Report: Trippier still on Man United's radar

Manchester United are reportedly still tempted to make a move for Kieran Trippier, but they fear being held to ransom by Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy.

The Red Devils are in the market for a right-back and Tottenham are believed to be open to cashing in on the England international if the price is right.

The Mirror reports that Levy is demanding more than £30m for Trippier, however, and United are weighing up whether to look elsewhere.

Crystal Palace youngster Aaron Wan-Bissaka is valued at £45m but is seen as a wiser investment, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to focus on recruiting younger players over the next year.

Diogo Dalot is already on United's books and had a positive first campaign at Old Trafford on the whole, while Antonio Valencia has moved on, Ashley Young has a year to run on his contract and Matteo Darmian is expected to be sold.
