Report: Manchester United preparing Sadio Mane bid

Manchester United are reportedly preparing a summer bid for Southampton attacker Sadio Mane.

The Red Devils, who beat Crystal Palace to land the FA Cup on Saturday, were strongly linked with a move for the 24-year-old in January, but Southampton repelled the interest.

According to The Sun, Man United will return with a £25m bid next month, although Ronald Koeman is expected to demand £30m for a player that scored 11 Premier League goals during the 2015-16 campaign.

Jose Mourinho is expected to be named as the new Man United boss at the start of next week, with Louis van Gaal seemingly confirming his exit on Sunday afternoon.
