Mason Greenwood set for new United contract?

Manchester United starlet Mason Greenwood is set to sign a bumper new contract, according to a report.

The pacy 17-year-old has been in fine form on United's pre-season tour of Australasia and could be involved with the first team this season, having impressed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

According to The Sun, Greenwood has been earning just £800 a week, but that figure is set to improve before he turns 18 in October.

The attacker made his United debut in March in the Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain and went on to appear three times in the Premier League before the end of the season.

The England Under-18 international was handed his first start on the final day of last season against Cardiff City and it is thought that more could follow in the upcoming campaign.
