Manchester United have reportedly sent scouts to keep a close eye on Benfica striker Carlos Vinicius.

Manchester United have reportedly sent scouts to watch Carlos Vinicius, as the Red Devils consider a move for the Benfica striker before the end of the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old has scored 24 times and registered 13 assists in 50 appearances for Benfica, while he spent last season on loan at Tottenham Hotspur.

Vinicius only made nine Premier League appearances for Spurs, but he featured on 22 occasions in all competitions, contributing 10 goals and three assists in the process.

According to A Bola, Man United have sent scouts to keep an eye on the Brazilian, as head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer considers moving for a new striker over the next couple of weeks.

The report claims that Bayern Munich and Juventus are also among the clubs tracking Vinicius, who still has three years left to run on his contract in Portugal.

The forward was a late substitute in Benfica's 2-0 league victory over Arouca last weekend, but he has not yet featured in the Champions League qualification rounds.
