Manchester United, Manchester City 'interested in Ajax starlet Hossein Zamani'

Manchester United and Manchester City have both expressed an interest in signing 16-year-old Ajax starlet Hossein Zamani this summer, according to a report.

The winger, who joined Ajax's academy in 2016, is regarded as one of the brightest young prospects in Europe.

Zamani has alerted potential suitors by expressing a desire to leave Ajax and seek a new challenge this summer.

According to the Daily Mail, United and City are among those keeping a close eye on the youngster.

The former have concluded deals with Ajax for the transfer of academy products Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Tahith Chong in recent years.

Other clubs interested in Zamani include Everton, Leicester City, Marseille and Atalanta BC.
