Manchester City 'beat Premier League rivals to Barcelona starlet'

Manchester City are reportedly in line to win the race to sign Barcelona youngster Juan Larios, who has also attracted interest from other Premier League clubs.

Manchester City have reportedly emerged as the frontrunners to complete the signing of Barcelona youngster Juan Larios.

While the 15-year-old is regarded as one of the top prospects at Camp Nou, the teenager is allegedly against committing his future to the Catalan giants.

That has seemingly led to widespread interest from elsewhere, with several clubs in the Premier League said to be monitoring the situation.

According to the Daily Record, City have made the best offer to the left-back, edging out the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.

The report adds that a number of Spanish players being present at City aided their efforts in winning the race for the defender's signature.
