James Maddison turns down Man United move?

James Maddison has reportedly informed Leicester City that he has no intention of leaving the King Power Stadium in this summer's transfer window.

Manchester United have been strongly linked with a move for the 22-year-old, who scored seven times and registered seven assists for the Foxes during the 2018-19 Premier League season.

The Red Devils were thought to be in 'pole position' to land the Englishman this summer.

However, according to The Sun, Maddison has told Leicester that he is happy with the club and is ready to snub interest from the likes of United, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.

Maddison, who has a contract at the King Power Stadium until June 2023, is said to be valued by the Foxes in the region of £60m.

United have also reportedly missed out on the signing of Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt.
