Team News: Louis van Gaal makes three changes to Manchester United XI

Louis van Gaal makes three changes to his Manchester United XI for Saturday's Premier League clash away at Norwich City, while the home side are unchanged.

Louis van Gaal has made three changes to his Manchester United XI for Saturday's Premier League clash away at Norwich City.

Matteo Darmian, Juan Mata and Memphis Depay all come into the team for the Red Devils, with Daley Blind and Marcus Rashford rested and Marouane Fellaini serving the first of his three-game suspension.

Wayne Rooney will seemingly once again operate in a deeper midfield role, while Rashford's absence will see Anthony Martial start down the middle for the top-four hopefuls.

As for Norwich, Ryan Bennett has missed out after failing to overcome an illness, while Timm Klose and Alexander Tettey remain on the sidelines for the relegation-threatened Canaries.

It is the same XI that lost 1-0 at Arsenal last weekend, with Cameron Jerome once again leading the line in a 4-4-1-1 formation.

Norwich City: Ruddy; Pinto, Martin, Bassong, Olsson; Redmond, Howson, O'Neil, Brady; Hoolahan; Jerome
Subs: Rudd, Whittaker, Naismith, Mbokani, Bamford, Jarvis, Dorrans

Manchester United: De Gea; Valencia, Smalling, Rojo, Darmian; Carrick, Rooney; Mata, Lingard, Memphis; Martial
Subs: Romero, McNair, Borthwick-Jackson, Fosu-Mensah, Schneiderlin, Herrera, Januzaj
