Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha: 'I don't care if Manchester United fans boo me'

Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha insists that he will be unfazed if Manchester United fans boo him in tonight's match at Old Trafford.

Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha has insisted that he does not care if he receives boos from the Manchester United crowd when his side travel to Old Trafford tonight.

The winger signed for the Red Devils from Palace for £15m in 2013, but made just four appearances across an 18-month spell before returning to Selhurst Park.

Zaha is expected to start in tonight's game, but the 23-year-old has claimed that he will treat it like any other.

"My time at United has gone and I don't mind if I get booed," the Daily Mail quotes Zaha as saying. "I still have Man United followers on Twitter. They might wait until I make a mistake in a game or something, and they'll come out with something like 'That's why you got sold'.

"I just think you either follow me or you don't. That stage when I was at Man United has gone now and I'm a Crystal Palace player.

"I am just trying to progress in my career, so going back to Old Trafford will be like playing at any other stadium. I am just going to do my best as usual."

Zaha has scored five goals in 36 appearances this season.
