Manchester United full-back Rafael Da Silva believes that the timing of his goal against Liverpool yesterday helped the Red Devils push on to win the match at Anfield.
The Brazilian put the former Premier League champions back on terms following Steven Gerrard's goal for the Reds just six minutes later in United's overall 2-1 victory yesterday.
"It was so quick after they scored," Rafael told the club's official website. "If we hadn't had scored then we might have got a little bit nervous so it was an important time to get the goal.
"I was so pleased [to score] for the fans. They always give me such great support and I know this is an important game for them, so I'm very happy."
United's next league fixture comes in the form of Tottenham Hotspur.
