Jonny Evans to miss further three weeks

Man United defender Jonny Evans is expected to miss a further three weeks after suffering a setback in his return from a calf injury.

Manchester United defender Jonny Evans is expected to miss a further three weeks after suffering a setback in his return from a calf injury.

The Northern Ireland international has been sidelined for United's last four fixtures but, despite the expectation that the centre-back would resume first-team duties this month, the 25-year-old will endure an extended absence.

Consequently, Evans will miss domestic clashes with Liverpool and Manchester City, along with Olympiacos's visit to Old Trafford in the Champions League.

Evans's last appearance came in the 2-1 defeat to Stoke City on February 1.
