Agent: 'Ibrahimovic turned down China move'

Zlatan Ibrahimovic turned down a big-money offer from China to join Manchester United on a free transfer in the summer transfer window, according to the striker's agent Mino Raiola.

Ibrahimovic, 34, ran down his contract at Paris Saint-Germain before making the move to Man United, for whom he has scored six goals in his first 10 appearances this season.

According to Raiola, his client was offered '£86m net' to become the latest player to move to the Chinese Super League, but Ibrahimovic was only interested in chasing more trophies.

"Ibrahimovic is the best. He turned down €100m (£84m) net from the Chinese! He doesn't want more money, he wants to win," Raiola told Il Giornale.

It is understood that the experienced forward collects a weekly salary of £200,000 at Old Trafford.
