Team News: Michael Carrick, Jesse Lingard return for Manchester United

Michael Carrick and Jesse Lingard feature in the Manchester United starting lineup for the FA Cup tie against West Ham United.

Michael Carrick and Jesse Lingard have both been recalled to the Manchester United team for this afternoon's FA Cup quarter-final against West Ham United.

Neither player featured in the starting lineup for Thursday's Europa League defeat at the hands of rivals Liverpool.

However, along with the returning Ander Herrera, they are included against the Hammers at Old Trafford.

There is also a place among the substitutes for 17-year-old RoShaun Williams, who has never previously been included in the senior squad.

As for the visitors, manager Slaven Bilic has opted for a partnership of Andy Carroll and January signing Emmanuel Emenike up front.

There is also a return to the heart of the defence for the fit-again Winston Reid.

Manchester United: De Gea; Varela, Smalling, Blind, Rojo; Carrick, Fellaini; Rashford, Herrera, Lingard; Martial
Subs: Romero, Darmian, Williams, Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger, Januzaj, Memphis

West Ham United: Randolph; Antonio, Reid, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Kouyate, Noble, Lanzini, Payet; Emenike, Carroll
Subs: Adrian, O'Brien, Song, Obiang, Moses, Sakho, Valencia
