Manchester City youngster Greg Leigh extends Crewe Alexandra loan

Manchester City youngster Greg Leigh has extended his loan with Crewe Alexandra until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old defender joined the League One side on an initial six-month deal back in the summer.

Leigh has made 23 appearances in all competitions for the Railwaymen during the current campaign.

Crewe are in 22nd place in the table, two points adrift of safety.

They return to league action on Saturday when Gillingham make the trip to Gresty Road.
