Joe Hart to return for Manchester City against Everton

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini says Joe Hart will replace Willy Caballero in goal at Everton on Saturday.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has said that England goalkeeper Joe Hart will start away at Everton this weekend.

Hart hasn't played in City's two previous fixtures, with Willy Caballero preferred for the league win over Sunderland and the FA Cup third-round success against Sheffield Wednesday.

However, Pellegrini has said that Hart won't face a long period on the sidelines, telling reporters: "Joe knows what I think about his performance. Against Everton, Joe will return because he is playing very well."

The Premier League champions are joint top of the table with Chelsea, and are nine points clear of neighbours Manchester United.

Hart has been a regular starter this season and has made 29 appearances for club and country.
