Manchester City team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Sheffield United

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Tuesday's Premier League meeting with Sheffield United.

Manchester City make the trip to Yorkshire to face Sheffield United on Tuesday night looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League.

While City are already considered to be out of the title race, a 2-2 draw at home to Crystal Palace at the weekend has not helped their cause.

Pee Guardiola must now attempt to find a solution for the game with the Blades, who are fresh off claiming a 1-1 draw at Arsenal.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the visit to Bramall Lane.

Leroy Sane

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: February 1 (vs. Tottenham Hotspur)

While there has been positive talk regarding a return from a serious knee injury over the next few weeks, Sane remains out of contention ahead of this match.

Aymeric Laporte

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: February 1 (vs. Spurs)

Despite having sustained a similar injury a few weeks later, Laporte is further down the comeback trail. While no date has been pencilled in at this stage, it would not come as a surprise if the Frenchman made an appearance over the next two weeks.

MAN CITY'S SUSPENSION LIST

City have no suspension concerns ahead of this encounter.
