Malaga re-appoint Juande Ramos

Malaga have re-appointed Juande Ramos as head coach on a three-year contract.

The 61-year-old, who previously managed the La Liga club in the 2003-04 campaign, has replaced Javi Gracia after the Spaniard took control of Russian outfit Rubin Kazan.

Ramos has also previously managed Levante, Rayo Vallecano, Real Betis, Espanyol, Sevilla and Real Madrid in Spain, while he coached English side Tottenham Hotspur in the 2007-08 campaign.

"His enviable track record and knowledge of football, La Liga, Malaga and the city make him a perfect figure for the Malaga dugout. He is an exciting coach to take on the challenges and future of this club and all the Malaga family. Welcome back to Malaga, Juande!" read a statement on Malaga's official website.

Ramos's last managerial role was at Ukrainian outfit Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in 2014.
