Liverpool's Adam Lallana: 'We have not achieved anything yet'

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana insists that nobody at the club is getting ahead of themselves following a winning run.

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has insisted that he and his teammates are not getting ahead of themselves following their recent winning run.

Jurgen Klopp's side are unbeaten in their last three Premier League games and they managed to stage a dramatic comeback against Borussia Dortmund to reach the semi-finals of the Europa League last week.

Tomorrow, they will take on Merseyside rivals Everton at Anfield as they bid to keep pressure on the European places in the league.

The Reds have received plenty of plaudits for their performances in recent matches, but Lallana has urged caution.

"We're not getting ahead of ourselves - we've achieved nothing yet," the Liverpool Echo quotes Lallana as saying.

"We are starting to perform a little bit more consistently and the manager is ringing the changes and lads are coming in and performing well. I think it shows what a big squad he's got here and he can trust all his players."

Liverpool are currently eighth in the league table.
