Iago Aspas delighted to score first Liverpool goal

Liverpool forward Iago Aspas says that he is delighted to have scored his first goal for the club in their FA Cup win over Oldham.

Liverpool forward Iago Aspas has expressed his delight at scoring his first professional goal for the club since his arrival in the summer.

The 26-year-old opened the scoring in the Reds' 2-0 win over Oldham Athletic at Anfield on Sunday in the FA Cup, helping the club secure a place in the fourth round.

"It's wonderful for me to score my first goal here," Aspas told the club's official website. "It's difficult when you don't play all the games, but I'm very happy to have scored."

The Spaniard has struggled to break into the first team under manager Brendan Rodgers since arriving from Celta Vigo.
