Report: Leicester City join Ousmane Dembele race

Leicester City have reportedly joined the race for Rennes attacker Ousmane Dembele.

The 18-year-old is expected to be the subject of a transfer scramble at the end of the season, with most of the top clubs in European football linked with the France Under-21 international in recent weeks.

Dembele has hit 12 goals in 20 league appearances this season, including seven in his last five starts for his Ligue 1 club.

According to The Times, Leicester are ready to battle for the big names for Dembele as the Foxes look to boost their squad for the 2016-17 season, which will almost certainly bring Champions League football.

Leicester will have the chance to move 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League table when they travel to struggling Sunderland on Sunday afternoon.
