Millwall were looking to notch their third-straight win in the league when Leeds United visited The Den this afternoon.

That's exactly what Steve Lomas's men achieved thanks to second-half goals from Martyn Woolford and Scott Malone.

2.31pmAfternoon folks! The feature 3pm kickoff in the Championship this afternoon comes in South London as Millwall host Leeds. Let's get straight to the teams...

2.33pmMILLWALL XI: Forde; Dunne, Shittu, Robinson, Malone; Abdou, Trotter, Bailey; Woolford, Easter, Waghorn

2.33pmLEEDS XI: Kenny; Peltier, Pearce, Wootton, Warnock; Murphy, Austin, Tonge; Mowatt, McCormack, Varney

2.35pmIt's two changes for the hosting Lions as Danny Shittu comes in for the injured Mark Beevers while Jermaine Easter takes Scott McDonald's place.

2.38pmBrian McDermott also rings the changes for Leeds by bringing in Lee Peltier, Stephen Warnock and Alex Mowatt, who is making his Championship debut today.

2.41pmSUBS! And here are the two benches this afternoon:

Millwall: Bywater, Osborne, Connolly, Derry, Chaplow, Martin, Keogh
Leeds: Cairns, Green, Smith, Diouf, Hunt, Byram, Poleon

2.45pmThe last three matches between these sides have finished 1-0, with Leeds on the right side of the result in two of those matches.

2.47pmHowever, in this fixture at The Den last season it was Millwall who came out on top against a 10-man Leeds United. A red card is a common occurrence when these two lock horns.

2.50pmPREDICTION TIME! Just 10 minutes until we get underway so let's take a stab at predicting the outcome. I reckon it will be another low-scoring affair and am going to side with Leeds to snatch a 1-0 win.

2.52pmSaying that, Leeds could be a little more tired than the Lions as they were in Capital One Cup action at Newcastle in midweek, suffering a 2-0 defeat to the Premier League side. Millwall had already been knocked out.

2.55pmREFEREE WATCH! The man with the whistle today is Chris Foy, who usually operates in the top flight and officiated Norwich 0-1 Villa last week.

2.57pmHere come the two sides out of the tunnel at an overcast Den. The camera focuses on Mowatt, huge day for the youngster making his league debut.

2.59pmYou have to say that Leeds have got a fantastic away fanbase. They're making plenty of noise as kickoff nears.

1 minKICKOFF! We're underway at The Den. Millwall in their home colours of navy and white while Leeds don their gold away strip.

2 minFirst shot of the game comes from Leeds captain Austin, who strikes powerfully from range but can't get it on target.

4 minUPDATE! Early goal for league leaders QPR as they take the lead against struggling Boro.

5 minNasty challenge from Trotter who escapes a booking only because it's so early in the game.

7 minBailey and Murphy collide in the middle, with the former coming off worse but OK to continue. Little action in either penalty box so far.

11 minUPDATE! Second goal of the day in the second tier comes at Goldsands where Jordan Rhodes has just put Blackburn ahead.

13 min"All very scrappy here so far" says the Leeds United Twitter feed. Right adjective for the opening minutes.

15 min"Marching on together!" bellow the Leeds fans as they try to inject some life into the match.

18 minYELLOW! Really harsh from Foy as he cautions Warnock for tripping up Woolford.

3.21pmUPDATE! Another goal elsewhere as David McGoldrick gives Ipswich the lead against Brighton.

20 minFine deep cross from Tonge is well headed out by the Millwall defence. Really hard to even say who's been the better side so far.

3.26pmUPDATE! Both Ipswich and Blackburn go 2-0 up against Brighton and Bournemouth respectively.

28 minOFF THE POST! Best chance by a mile as Waghorn fires low with his weaker right from the edge of the area. Kenny is beaten but the post isn't as the ball bounces out. It lands at hte feet of Woolford but he fluffs his lines by slicing over.

32 minWaghorn's deep corner is met by Shittu but only headed wide of the target.

3.35pmUPDATE! It's now 2-0 to QPR as Charlie Austin scores a penalty while Reading now lead against Birmingham.

37 minVarney does well to keep the ball in on the right touchline and pick out Murphy in the middle. The summer signing from Crewe is about to be tackled so has a shot first time that's well struck but never troubling Forde.

39 minTwo decent Leeds crosses - one from the left, one from the right - are well defended by the bullish Lions backline. Shittu's clearing header on the second isn't convincing and allows Varney an overhead effort that loops over. Would have been spectacular.

42 minMowatt slides in Warnock in the inside-left channel and the left-back digs out a cross that Forde fumbles. Luckily for the home keeper, there's no gold shirt nearby to pounce.

43 minWarnock's opposite number Malone makes a similar run into the area down the other end and looks like he's brought down by Austin. Foy has a long, hard look but shakes his head as the Lions look to him to blow up.

45+1 minCHANCE! It's probably the last opening of the first half and what a good one for Leeds. McCormack stoops to head back across goal where Pearce hooks the bouncing ball high over the crossbar.

45+2 minHALF TIME: MILLWALL 0-0 LEEDS UNITED

3.50pmVery little to tell you about that first half. Millwall hit the post through Waghorn's snapshot and then maybe should have had a penalty when Austin sent Malone tumbling. Down the other end Millwall have looked solid defensively but almost slipped up late in the half when McCormack and Pearce were left unmarked, with the latter hooking over from close range.

3.57pmToday's attendance at The Den is 13,063, with 2,081 Leeds fans making the trip down from Yorkshire.

4pmLooking at the stats from that half, both sides had four shots at goal but neither managed a single one on target. Possession-wise, Leeds edged it with 54% of the ball.

46 minKICKOFF! The second half is underway in South-East London.

47 minEarly shot from Trotter that, in keeping with the match so far, flies off target.

49 minCHANCE! Great stuff from youngster Mowatt, who sends over a dangerous cross from the left that McCormack fails to get enough on to turn it home.

51 minMILLWALL SUB: Just five minutes Lomas gave it before making a change, bringing on Lee Martin for Jermaine Easter. That could see a shake up in formation as Martin is more of a wideman.

55 minUPDATE! Leicester take the lead against lowly Barnsley through David Nugent.

57 minBreak in play at The Den as Warnock hobbles around after a hefty challenge. Really struggling to work out which side has a better chance of winning this game at the moment.

59 minLong punt forward from Forde is so close to bobbling through for Trotter, with Wootton just getting to the ball in time to slide it out.

62 minVarney can't believe that he's not awarded a penalty after tangling with Dunne. Replays show that there was very little in it. Good call not to award a spot kick by Foy.

65 minGOAL! MILLWALL 1-0 LEEDS (WOOLFORD)

65 minThe Lions break the deadlock! It was Leeds who were on the attack but the ball was lost and Millwall broke quickly down the other end through Martin and Waghorn. The former played it across the pitch for Woolford who took it in his stride before firing low into the bottom corner from 20 yards.

69 minLEEDS SUBS! Double change for the visitors with Sam Byram for Michael Tonge and Matt Smith for Luke Varney.

72 minYELLOW! Martin is booked for tripping up Warnock who seemed to land heavily and looks like he's just been sick on the pitch!

76 minGOAL! MILLWALL 2-0 LEEDS (MALONE)

76 minLovely goal, this. Malone pulls off a pair of one-twos on the edge of the box, with Trotter feeding the advancing left-back to accurately curl home. That could be that.

78 minMcCormack has been rather quiet for Leeds today so decides to have a speculative effort from distance that Forde beats out.

80 minMOMENT OF MADNESS! Malone has almost scored a hilarious own goal just minutes after doubling the hosts' lead. A ball over the top caused confusion between him and Forde, with Malone prodding it past his own keeper before clearing the ball into the post and away. Unbelievable!

82 minSUBS! Both sides make a change, with Paul Green coming on for Warnock for the visitors before Waghorn's afternoon is ended as Andy Keogh comes on.

84 minCHANCE! Great opportunity for Austin to half the deficit as he is played in by McCormack but can't beat Forde, who dived bravely to deny the Leeds skipper.

86 minOFF THE POST! So close to a Millwall third as Trotter gets his head up to release Woolford on the break. Kenny comes racing out of his goal and is chipped by the Millwall man. You're expecting the net to bulge but the ball just curls a little too much and comes back off the inside of the post.

89 minThis will make it three straight defeats in the league for Leeds who, as it stands, are slumping down to 15th in the table.

90+1 minFOUR more minutes until the final whistle can be blown.

90+3 minLeeds know that the game is up and aren't really trying to score a leveller.

90+5 minFULL TIME: MILLWALL 2-0 LEEDS UNITED

4.56pm'Rockin' all over the world' blares out of the speakers at The Den as Millwall notch their third-straight win in the league.

4.59pmAfter a torrid start to the season, Millwall are now into double figures and sit 16th in the Championship. Leeds are on the same number of points but a place higher because of their better goal difference. Click here for the full table after today's games.

5.03pmAnyway, that's all we've got time for here on SM this afternoon. Make sure you stick around on site for more reports, reaction and analysis than you could imagine!
