Inter fans mock Heysel disaster

Fans of both Juventus and Inter Milan have been accused of making distateful gestures towards each other during Saturday's match at the San Siro.

Inter fans unfurled a banner at the game which mocked the Heysel Stadium disaster of 1985 when 39 Juventus fans died after a wall collapsed before their European Cup final against Liverpool in Belgium.

Juve supporters retaliated by singing songs about the death of former Inter president Giacinto Facchetti as well as other members of the Nerazzuri board.

The events have made front-page news in the Italian media.
