Team News: Bastian Schweinsteiger starts for Germany

Bastian Schweinsteiger comes into the Germany team for Thursday's Euro 2016 semi-final against France, who are unchanged.

Germany boss Joachim Low has introduced Bastian Schweinsteiger into his starting XI for tonight's Euro 2016 semi-final against France.

The Manchester United midfielder has replaced the injured Sami Khedira in the starting side, while there are two further changes from their quarter-final against Italy as Emre Can and Julian Draxler replace Mats Hummels and Mario Gomez.

Centre-back Hummels misses out through suspension, while experienced forward Gomez is unlikely to play again this summer due to injury.

As for France, head coach Didier Deschamps has kept faith with the same side that beat Iceland 5-2 in the quarter-finals.

N'Golo Kante and Adil Rami are both now back from suspension, but Samuel Umtiti and Moussa Sissoko keep their places in a team that once again sees Olivier Giroud lead the line.

Germany: Neuer; Kimmich, Boateng, Howedes, Hector; Can, Kroos, Schweinsteiger; Ozil, Muller, Draxler
Subs: Leno, Ter Stegen, Mustafi, Tah, Schurrle, Weigl, Gotze, Sane, Podolski

France: Lloris; Sagna, Koscielny, Umtiti, Evra; Matuidi, Pogba, Sissoko; Griezmann, Giroud, Payet
Subs: Mandanda, Costil, Jallet, Rami, Mangala, Digne, Kante, Cabaye, Schneiderlin, Coman, Gignac, Martial
