Kieran Dowell signs new Everton deal

Teenage midfielder Kieran Dowell signs a new three-year contract with Everton, keeping him at Goodison Park until the summer of 2019.

Teenage midfielder Kieran Dowell has signed a new three-year contract with Everton.

The 18-year-old has been at Goodison Park since the age of seven and made his first-team debut in a Europa League match against FC Krasnador in December 2014.

The central midfielder missed the first half of the 2015-16 campaign with an ankle ligament injury, but scored 11 times for Everton's Under-21 side in the second half of the season and also made his Premier League debut towards the end of April.

Dowell, who is now contracted to the Merseyside club until the summer of 2019, has three England Under-18 caps to his name.
