Espanyol defender Hector Moreno has reportedly undergone a successful operation to repair his broken leg.
The Mexican centre-back suffered the injury while representing his country at this summer's World Cup in Brazil.
Before the break, Moreno had been one of the standout defenders in the competition and his form had attracted the interest of a number of European clubs.
According to AS, Moreno left the hospital in Barcelona shortly after his operation was completed after the doctors gave the all-clear.
A return date has not yet been set by Espanyol.
