Jack Grealish selected for England U21s

Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish has been called up to the England Under-21 squad for the first time since switching his allegiance.

The 20-year-old played for the Republic of Ireland at Under-21 level, but opted to commit his international future to England last September.

Gareth Southgate has included Grealish in his 20-man squad for the upcoming Toulon Tournament, where the Young Lions will take on Portugal, Paraguay, Guinea and Japan in the group stage.

Nineteen-year-old Chelsea midfielder Kasey Palmer has also received his first call-up to the squad.

England U21 squad:

Goalkeepers: Angus Gunn (Manchester City), Jordan Pickford (Sunderland).

Defenders: Calum Chambers (Arsenal), Ben Chilwell (Leicester City), Brendan Galloway (Everton), Kortney Hause (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Dominic Iorfa (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Jack Stephens (Southampton), Matt Targett (Southampton).

Midfielders: Lewis Baker (Vitesse Arnhem, loan from Chelsea), Matt Grimes (Swansea City), Nathaniel Chalobah (Napoli, loan from Chelsea), Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Chelsea), John Swift (Chelsea), James Ward-Prowse (Southampton)

Forwards: Jack Grealish (Aston Villa), Kasey Palmer (Chelsea) Nathan Redmond (Norwich City), Duncan Watmore (Sunderland), Cauley Woodrow (Fulham)
