Chelsea striker Fernando Torres insists that he will be happy to see more arrivals at the club in his position this summer.

Chelsea striker Fernando Torres has insisted that he will be happy to see more arrivals at the club in his position this summer.

Torres is just one of just two senior forwards at the club, along with Demba Ba who arrived from Newcastle United in January, and the Spaniard claims that he is looking forward to seeing the Blues add to their striking department this summer.

"All of us are expecting Chelsea to sign top players in all the positions," The Mirror quotes him as saying.

"Anyone who comes here is a teammate, not an enemy. Everyone expects it, it's normal. Every top side in the world signs top players every summer.

"All the things that have happened in the past are in the past. This season, for me especially, has been much better than the first two.

Despite reported interest from Italian side Fiorentina, the former Liverpool and Atletico Madrid man said that he is more than happy to remain at Stamford Bridge.

"I will be a Chelsea player [after this summer], why not? I signed five years here, I have a contract and I want to do many, many things in this time," he said. "I still have three years and, hopefully, more."

The Blues entertain Everton this afternoon.
