Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko hopes to complete a permanent move to AC Milan after re-joining the Serie A club on an initial two-year loan spell.

Tiemoue Bakayoko has affirmed that he wants to remain at AC Milan for "a long time" after securing another loan move to San Siro from Chelsea.

The former Monaco man has endured a torrid time at Stamford Bridge since his 2017 arrival, being loaned out three times to Les Monegasques, Milan and Napoli over the past three seasons.

Bakayoko will once again ply his trade at the Rossoneri after re-joining the club on loan until 2023, and the midfielder has announced his desire to secure a permanent move to the Serie A side.

Speaking to reporters, Bakayoko said: "I hope to stay here even after these two years on loan, everyone knows how attached I am to this club that I consider my home.

"When you are at Milan you must always aim to the maximum, I will give my all to win as many trophies as possible. At this point in my career I need stability after all these loans, so I hope to stay at Milan for a long time. I will do everything possible to make that happen."

Bakayoko previously made 42 appearances for Milan during the 2018-19 campaign, while he boasts three goals and three assists from 43 matches in a Chelsea shirt.
