Torres handed red card after scoring

Fernando Torres has been sent off for Chelsea after putting the Blues ahead in their Premier League encounter with Swansea.

The Spaniard finished well after 24 minutes before Ramires doubled the home side's advantage.

He was later sent off for a two-footed challenge on Swansea's Mark Gower, referee Mike Dean giving the player his first red card in England.

Torres's goal marks the 27-year-old's second league goal this season and also the second in as many games, having scored his team's only goal in last weekend's 3-1 defeat to Manchester United.
