Football Association won't increase Eden Hazard's three-match ban

FA won't increase Hazard ban

The Football Association have announced that Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard will not receive an increased suspension for kicking a ball boy.

The Belgium international was charged with violent conduct after he appeared to kick a Swansea City ball boy in the stomach while trying to retrieve the ball during the Blues' exit from the League Cup.

Chelsea wrote to the English governing body in a bid to prevent the midfielder from having an extended ban and the FA have met the Blues' request.

Hazard will be absent for Chelsea's Premier League clash against Newcastle United this weekend.
