Nabil Bentaleb: 'Confident Tottenham Hotspur can beat Chelsea'

Nabil Bentaleb insists that Tottenham Hotspur are confident enough to end Chelsea's unbeaten run on Wednesday.

Nabil Bentaleb has claimed that a confident Tottenham Hotspur side can end Chelsea's unbeaten Premier League run at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening.

An inconsistent patch of form saw the Spurs players and head coach Mauricio Pochettino receive criticism last month, but Bentaleb insists that the visitors are ready to upset the leaders after securing three successive wins in all competitions.

"We know what we're capable of and we know we're on the right road," the Algerian told the club's website. "We just have to keep working hard in order to achieve a result against the big teams.

"We all know what Chelsea are like, they're one of the favourites to win this league and it's going to be a really tough game.

"But it's a game of football where anything can happen. We're confident that if we focus we can manage to get a result."

Spurs head into the game in ninth place, while Chelsea currently hold a six-point lead at the top of the table.
