Augsburg 'reject Chelsea Baba Rahman bid'

Augsburg reject Chelsea's bid for full-back Baba Rahman, according to a report.

Augsburg have reportedly turned down a €25m (£17.7m) offer for Chelsea from full-back Baba Rahman.

The 21-year-old has been earmarked as a possible replacement for Filipe Luis, who has rejoined Atletico Madrid after only one season at Stamford Bridge.

According to The Guardian, Augsburg are holding out for a fee nearer €30m (£21.2m) for the Ghanaian international.

Chelsea has refused to budge in terms of valuation, but with a lack of alternative targets available, the Blues may be forced to reach a compromise with the German outfit.

Chelsea drew their opening Premier League game with Swansea City.
