Chelsea captain John Terry to undergo scan on ankle injury

Chelsea captain John Terry will reportedly undergo a scan tomorrow to learn the extent of his ankle injury ahead of Friday's clash against Liverpool.

Chelsea captain John Terry will reportedly undergo a scan tomorrow after picking up an ankle injury at the weekend.

The 35-year-old left the Liberty Stadium on crutches after rolling his ankle during the Blues' 2-2 with Swansea City on Sunday.

The extent of the damage is not yet known, but according to The Mirror, the centre-back will have a scan on Tuesday if the swelling has gone down.

Terry could be ruled out of Chelsea's clash against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge this Friday.
