John Terry confirms he will miss Chelsea's Champions League clash against PSG

John Terry confirms that he will not play in Tuesday's Champions League last-16 second leg against Paris Saint-Germain at Stamford Bridge.

John Terry has confirmed that he will not play in tomorrow night's Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain at Stamford Bridge.

The club captain was a doubt for the last-16 second leg after missing the last five games with a hamstring injury.

The Blues trail 2-1 from the first leg, but they will not have the help of Terry when they welcome the Ligue 1 side to West London.

Via Instagram, Terry wrote: "I'm gutted to be missing the PSG game. It's so frustrating missing any game, but these big champions league nights at the bridge are unbelievable and it hurts as a player not to be involved.

"I have thrown everything at my injury trying to get back fit but sometimes you have to let the injury settle, and thankfully I'm on the mend and hope to be back soon."

Terry's future at Chelsea remains in doubt as his contract comes to an end in the summer.
