West Ham United's Diego Poyet 'to rejoin Charlton Athletic on loan'

West Ham United midfielder Diego Poyet is reportedly expected to return to Charlton Athletic on loan.

On Monday, the Premier League club recalled the 20-year-old from his season-long loan at MK Dons.

Poyet has struggled to earn a regular first-team spot for the Hammers and he is expected to leave the club once again on a temporary basis.

According to London24, the midfielder will return to Charlton almost two years after leaving the Championship club for Upton Park.

Poyet began his football career with the Addicks when he joined the academy in 2006 before making his senior debut in 2013.
