Team News: Sam Vokes starts up front for Burnley

Sam Vokes replaces Andre Gray up front for Burnley as they welcome Watford.

Sam Vokes has replaced Andre Gray up front for Burnley as they welcome Watford to Turf Moor for their first ever top-flight meeting.

Gray is serving the first game of his four-match ban for homophobic tweets posted in 2012 as Sean Dyche makes two changes from the side that lost 3-0 at Leicester City last time out.

The other sees Johann Berg Gudmundsson come in for Scott Arfield in the middle of the park, while the likes of Michael Kightly, Jon Flanagan and Patrick Bamford start the game from the bench.

For visiting Watford, Walter Mazzarri is forced to make one change from the XI that claimed the scalp of Manchester United last weekend as Nordin Amrabat comes in for Daryl Janmaat, who suffered a shoulder injury in the victory over Jose Mourinho's side.

As a result, Mazzarri switches to a 3-5-2 formation as the Hornets look to make it three consecutive league wins for the first time since last December.

Burnley: Heaton; Ward, Mee, Keane, Lowton; Gudmundsson, Hendrick, Marney, Defour, Boyd; Vokes
Subs: Flanagan, Kightly, O'Neill, Bamford, Robinson, Tarkowski, Arfield

Watford: Gomes; Cathcart, Prödl, Britos; Amrabat, Capoue, Behrami, Pereyra, Holebas; Deeney, Ighalo
Subs: Pantilimon, Kaboul, Zuniga, Kenedy, Watson, Guedioura, Success
