Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe remains coy when questioned on whether his club could make another attempt to sign Leicester City's Demarai Gray this summer.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has refused to confirm or deny whether his club will make another move for Leicester City attacker Demarai Gray in the final days of the summer transfer window.

Gray, 21, has started just 10 Premier League matches since joining Leicester from Birmingham City in January 2016, and it has been claimed that a number of clubs want to sign the England Under-21 international.

It is understood that Bournemouth had a £20m bid for Gray rejected earlier this month, but recent reports have claimed that the Cherries are still interested in signing the attacker before the window slams shut.

"I made it very clear previously when Demarai was at Birmingham that we did like the player but he's very much a Leicester player now," Howe told reporters.

Gray has managed just two goals in 56 appearances for Leicester in all competitions.
