Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez has said that the Spanish giants "will lose a very important piece" if Brazilian forward Neymar departs Camp Nou for Paris Saint-Germain in this summer's transfer window.

Neymar has scored three times in two pre-season friendlies for Barcelona in North America, first netting a brace against Juventus at the weekend, before scoring the only goal of the match against Manchester United on Wednesday night.

The 25-year-old continues to be linked with a world-record move to Paris Saint-Germain, however, and Suarez has admitted that he 'does not know' whether the former Santos youngster will decide to join the French giants.

"Neymar is one of the best players in the world," Suarez told reporters. "If he goes, we will lose a very important piece. The interest from PSG is there. I don't know what he is going to do. I hope he decides soon."

Barcelona will continue their pre-season preparations with a clash against Real Madrid on Saturday night.
