Barcelona to hand new deal to Ansu Fati?

Barcelona are allegedly prepared to hand a new long-term contract to teenager Ansu Fati.

When Lionel Messi was injured, Fati was promoted to the first team, and the 16-year-old has already made an impression with two goals and an assist from five outings in La Liga.

While the prospect is already tied to Camp Nou until the end of the 2021-22 campaign, it appears that the Catalan giants are ready to improve those terms.

According to reports in Spain, another deal could soon be put on the table, which includes a release clause of €100m (£87.73m).

The development comes at a time when Spain boss Robert Moreno is said to be considering an international call-up for the youngster.
