Barcelona 'reject Mascherano approach from Juventus'

Barcelona have reportedly told Juventus that Javier Mascherano is not for sale at any price.

Reports emerged earlier today linking the Italian champions with a move for the 31-year-old, with some even suggesting that he has already signed a contract with the Turin outfit.

However, an unnamed Barcelona official has reportedly denied those claims, with Mascherano under contract at the Camp Nou until 2018.

"Mascherano is not for sale. He is untransferable," the director is quoted as saying by Mundo Deportivo.

Juventus have also been credited with an interest in Barcelona right-back Dani Alves, who is reportedly on the verge of signing a three-year deal with Massimiliano Allegri's side.
