Barcelona boss Luis Enrique: 'We cannot afford to slip up'

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique says that his team will need to win their remaining three La Liga matches in order to lift the Spanish title this season.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has claimed that his team will need to win each of their remaining three La Liga matches if they are to retain the Spanish title this season.

As it stands, Barcelona top the table on 82 points, but they only lead second-placed Atletico Madrid on the head-to-head record, while Real Madrid are just one point off the summit with three games left.

The Catalan giants would lift the title with nine points from their final three matches, however, and Enrique believes that his side cannot afford to slip up due to the form of both clubs from the capital.

"I don't think any of our rivals will drop points in the last three games, but I won't watch them. All I know is that if we win all our remaining games, the title is ours," Enrique told reporters.

Barcelona have won their last two in the league after suffering three straight defeats earlier this month.
