Borussia Monchengladbach remain without an away win in the Bundesliga after they were pegged back late on by Augsburg in an entertaining draw.

The hosts took the lead in the first half through Andre Hahn, but a fine goal from Max Kruse levelled matters before the break.

In the second half Branimir Hrgota scored what looked to be the winner before Arkadiusz Milik levelled with just two minutes of the 90 remaining.

Good evening German football fans. Week seven of the Bundesliga starts right here with Augsburg against Gladbach.

Gladbach are above Augsburg on goal difference only, with both sides having won three and lost three in their opening games of the season. What are the odds on a draw then?!

I have the team news for you, so bear with me a minute and you'll have it too.

AUGSBURG XI: Manninger; Verhaegh, Callsen-Bracker, Klavan, Ostrzolek; Baier; Hahn, Moravek, Altintop, Werner; Molders

GLADBACH XI: Ter Stegen; Wendt, Stranzl, Jantschke, Dominguez; Nordtveit Kramer; Herrmann, Arango; Raffael; Kruse

I want to say that's a very strong Gladbach side - and it is - because I like a lot of their players, but they just have not been up to it away from home so far. Max Kruse is a real handful up top and the support from the trio in behind - Juan Arango, Patrick Herrmann and Raffael - is great to watch.

Augsburg have a different type of player up front in Sascha Molders, who is strong and powerful, and he will pose his own threat to the Gladbach defenders. He will press up rather than drop deep, which will allow Halil Antintop space to roam.

Kickoff is just over five minutes away now and here's the latest odds. It's a very tough one to call, with Augsburg at 7/5 and the visitors 11/5 slight outsiders. The draw at slightly better than 2/1 looks good to me.

Prediction? Oh go on then. I think tonight is the night that Gladbach break their away duck. I can see a top performance from Herrmann tonight and Ostrzolek might have a tough time out there. I'll go 2-0 to the visitors.

KICKOFF: The visitors in their white kit get us underway tonight.

First shot of the evening comes in from Werner from range, but Stranzl is there to block it to safety. Then Gladbach come forward through Arango on the left and he wins a corner off Hahn, but I didn't see a touch from the defender.

BOOKING: Gladbach put on a bit of pressure in the box with a couple of corners, but Augsburg break and Stranzl brings down Molders cynically. He's booked immediately as that was a very clever trip.

Dreadful touch there from Werner as Augsburg looked to get in down the left. He looks at the ground but there was no bobble: he just completely miscontrolled it and it went out for a throw.

Ostrzolek is fouled, more getting out of the way of Jantschke's foot than anything. It comes in from Werner and is headed out as far as Altintop who rifles in a low shot not far wide of the post. A good effort.

Gladbach have now settled into their familiar passing rhythm, with the centre-backs sitting very deep waiting to spring the counter. Augsburg, by contrast, are swift and direct with their passes, looking to get the ball wide for balls into the box.

Excellent play from Kruse, who is sent through on the right and uses his strength to muscle off a couple of defenders. However there are not enough shirts in the box for his low cross and the hosts can get it away. They go up the other end and win a corner off Nordtveit.

We haven't seen a great deal of Raffael yet, as he tries to get past Hahn but is easily muscled off the ball. It's become a bit scrappy in the last few moments with neither side able to keep hold of it.

The hosts are now fizzing it about more than Gladbach, which is usually the visitors' style. They turn up the pace as Verhaegh looks for Hahn, but it's overhit.

Moravek is currently winning the midfield battle with his power and determination. It's just the final ball that is lacking as he looks to play Molders in over the top but it was frankly a terrible attempt at a pass.

OFF THE BAR! Fantastic football from Gladbach and it should be 1-0. Arango is fortunate to pick up a loose ball and plays a fine one-two with Raffael, who used his strength superbly. Arango gets it back and, one-on-one, cracks the bar with his effort. He should have scored really.

That was by far the best chance of the game so far, although Altintop did come close with a snap-shot earlier. How can Augsburg respond? They haven't created enough so far.

GOAL! Augsburg 1-0 Gladbach (Andre Hahn)

That's a really good goal. Hahn just beats the offside trap - he is being played on by Dominguez - but the pass sends him wide, which means he has to turn it low into the far corner. That's how Augsburg can respond to the chance Gladbach just created...

BOOKING: Nasty foul there from Verhaegh on Kruse, who was just too quick for him. Slight cut there for the striker, but he'll be ok.

Selfish there from Altintop, but that's what you get from him. He took the ball into the left side of the box, cut inside and dragged a shot wide from an angle with teammates well placed.

GOAL! Augsburg 1-1 Gladbach (Max Kruse)

What a fine goal that is. Raffael does superbly to turn and get to the corner of the box. Kruse is in acres just outside it and gets the ball before working space for a low shot into the corner from the edge of the box. Unstoppable.

Gladbach are now much the better side. They are passing well and the movement from the front four is giving the hosts a really tough time. This one is really nicely poised indeed.

Kruse goes for the spectacular there, full of confidence. The ball comes over to him from an angled pass and he slices it over on the bounce from way out. He had no other options, in fairness to him.

The pace has slowed down a little bit just before half time. I'd be surprised if there was another goal before the break.

HALF-TIME: Augsburg 1-1 Gladbach

There's not one extra second of stoppage time and what turned into a very good first half has ended. It being level is about right as both teams have had one very good chance each and have scored. Gladbach have perhaps shaded it, but they won't be too disappointed.

Both the goals were really well worked, but before either went in Juan Arango missed a really good chance after playing a really good one-two with Raffael. Not long after came Augsburg's opener as Hahn was played in and he turned it low past Ter Stegen.

Gladbach equalised through Kruse, but Raffael deserves a lot of credit for his part in the goal. He used his strength to create some space and found Herrmann, who in turn passed to Kruse to fire low.

I don't expect there to be any changes at the break as there is no real need from either coach at the moment.

KICKOFF: The hosts get us back underway.

Augsburg survive an early scare and it was Raffael causing the damage. His shot from in the box was blocked and the hosts immediately break, with Hahn somehow missing a deep cross as he arrived at the far post.

SAVE: A chance there for Altintop and he could have taken that on. Instead he shoots just as he gets into the box slightly to the left, but Ter Stegen gets a strong forearm to get it away.

Augsburg have seen a lot of the ball at the start of the second half, but they haven't done a great deal with it aside from those half-chances.

Now Gladbach are trying to do the same but are finding Augsburg pressing high up the pitch. They just cannot get into it the visitors and at the moment this is going one way only.

There have been a couple of niggly fouls in the last few minutes and the frantic start to the first half has long gone. There hasn't been an effort on goal for quite some time, but the visitors are now looking more comfortable on the ball.

CHANCE: Difficult chance for Altintop as he was leaning back to Hahn's cross and was unable to direct it under the bar. Good pressure from Jantschke.

BOOKING: Hahn is the next player booked and it was for a bit of afters as Molders went up with Ter Stegen. Absolutely no need for that. Silly card to pick up.

GLADBACH SUB: Herrmann comes off for Branimir Hrgota. He'll provide a little more strength up front.

GOAL! Augsburg 1-2 Gladbach (Hrgota)

The sub makes an immediate impact! The marking, to be fair, is absolutely dreadful on the new man, but he reacted quickly to Kruse's cross form the left and fired a half-volley into the ground and past Manninger. I make it less than three minutes since he came on.

BOOKING: Hrgota now goes into the book. It was a bit of a nasty one from him as his studs caught the back of Klavan I think and he is carded.

AUGSBURG SUBS: Arkadiusz Milik comes on for Halil Altintop and Raphael Holzhauser is replacing Jan Moravek.

The visitors are still looking strong as the changes from the hosts have not had quite the same effect as Gladbach's. Still plenty of time for them to get back into it of course, it only takes a few seconds to score. Gladbach are finishing strongly, however.

Augsburg are slowly starting to edge back into this and are winning free kicks higher and higher up the pitch. The crowd scream for one just outside the box but Ostrzolek went down too easily for me.

Kevin Vogt comes on for Werner, as Ter Stegen gets booked for timewasting.

GOAL! Augsburg 2-2 Gladbach (Milik)

It's a late, late equaliser! A proper striker's goal that is, as a cross is prodded in by Hahn. Ter Stegen gets the faintest touch but Milik arrives at the far post and taps it in. They just about deserve that.

GLADBACH SUB: Change for the visitors as Luuk de Jong comes on for Arango.

There will be three minutes of time added on as Raffael makes way for Brouwers. It's heading for a draw.

FULL-TIME: Augsburg 2-2 Gladbach

So Augsburg steal a draw at the end of a very entertaining game. Gladbach remain without a win away, but they were much improved. Thanks for joining me for this one and we'll be back tomorrow with more from the Bundesliga. Goodbye.
