Fernando Torres takes responsibility for Atletico Madrid defeat

Dismissed Fernando Torres admits that Atletico Madrid's 2-1 defeat at Barcelona in the Champions League was his fault.

Fernando Torres has accepted the blame for Atletico Madrid's 2-1 defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League last night.

The experienced striker put Atletico 1-0 up at Camp Nou, but he was then red-carded in the 35th minute for a foul on Sergio Busquets.

The hosts made the most of their numerical advantage after the restart thanks to a Luis Suarez double - something that has forced Torres to shoulder the responsibility.

Torres's goal was the 11th that he has scored against Barca during his career.ID:270023: cacheID:270023:1false2false3false:QQ:: from db desktop :LenBod:restore:1726:No Data Analysis info
